I have been buying Thorlo's since 1992. I refuse to wear anything else. These things last 20 years or more with proper care (wash inside out, liquid fabric softener, line dry). I even wear the hiking socks everyday (I'm a teacher) as I'm on my feet all day long. They definitely make a difference in comfort and wicking away moisture. I would take 1 pair of Thorlo's over 10 pair of competitors. Buy them - you will not be dissapointed and your feet will thank you. Yes, they are more expensive, but for what you get and their longevity, it works out to be a better value in the long run.

I discovered Thor-Lo socks many years ago when I would train for and then walk 50 miles in less than 18 hours. I really understood the importance of good socks. These new ones have improved on the original design. They are designed to hold themselves up better. Now that I am 71 and have some neuropathy in my feet and am learning a new sport, pickleball, that requires movement, socks are just as important as they ever were, perhaps even more so since if something goes wrong, I am not going to feel it. I have not encountered any problem wearing these socks.

I bought this being unfamiliar with the brand and not knowing what to expect. So far, I've found they provide excelling comfort and cushioning, and your feet don't feel like they've taken such a pounding during and after exercise when wearing it. Bonus: it's made in the USA!

Purchase history of over 30 years with this formerly great sock. I save up and buy these once a year because they have been durable, long lasting and consistent quality. There have also been few other choices for quality athletic socks. It was obvious from my recent purchase that this sock has been reduced in quality. The padding and sock thickness are reduced, and most noticed was the weak elastic that supports the sock. Seriously who is satisfied with a pair of socks at this price that sag. Not me and I won't buy again and search results I have done have confirmed that this is not an incident related to my purchase (a one off QA problem.) I think DICKS's should consider dropping this product or at least making Thorlo aware of negative reviews like this. \r\rI don't fault Dicks for my purchase dissatisfaction but I hope they read their purchase feedback.

I bought these for my son-in-law about 6 years ago and he is still wearing them - under his cowboy boots. He works with cattle daily, so is on and off horses constantly. He said he has never had socks that last even a quarter as long or wear as well as his thorlos. They recently had a new baby and I was there helping out when my daughter commented that the socks I was folding were the ones I gave him 6 years ago. I think it was a hint that I could buy more.

I found this pair of socks in store, closest I could find for \"hiking\". There weren't any in the store, only online. When I got home to remove the packaging, I found that there was just one pair. One sock was placed on top but facing the other direction, so it looked like you were getting 2 pair, not 1. I'd probably either get a true hiking sock online, or find another store that has them in stock that I can look at before I buy.

Thorlo socks are the best socks and your feet deserve the best .Both my husband and I only wear Thorlo socks as they are comfortable, supportive and wick away sweat from your feet. they are long lasting socks and worth the price. They are the best made socks and we highly recommend them. We are so pleased that Dick's carries the Thorlo brand in their stores. Treat yourself and try them, you will never wear any other kind of sock!

Thor-lo makes the best sport socks hands down! I have been a loyal Thor-low customer for over 6 years. The product is superior in quality & comfort. Being a retired dancer my feet can be painful quite often. With Thor-low socks my feet feel like I am walking on air. Also, when washed according to manufacturers directions, the socks will last at a minimum of 2years. Best purchase ever made. I go nowhere with out my Thor-lows!

I'm 74 and have typical callous problems on the balls and heels of both feet. I needed a good quality cushioned sock while walking on the treadmill. This sock solved the problem. No more blisters and they are very comfortable. Strongly reccommend them to any other \"senior\" with the same problem. They are alittle pricey but you cannot put a dollar value on comfortable feet!!

I went to Dick's to search for the Thorlo crew sock and was disappointed when I did not find it. Then the sales person in shoes (I sure do wish I knew his name) told me that he could order them for me and have them delivered free of charge to my home. Now that is SERVICE!!! He went above and beyond what I would have expected and I left a happy shopper.

I have been using Thorlo socks for many years and they fit my needs well. I work in a warehouse and walk on a concrete floor for 8 hours a day and these help a great deal to cushion my foot as well as help to keep them dry. My only complaint is the price but since there is nothing else on the market that equals them I am glad they are available.

Way too thick and gave me the biggest blisters on my heels and the ball of my feet. Took over a week to heal, throwing me off/out of my workout routine. I'll spare you the pictures of my blisters.

I love Thorlo socks. They are the best for running. One small problem . Myfeet fall \"between sizes\". I am a woman with large feet. I wear 10.5W. The mediums go up to 10 and although they stretch, they are slightly small. The large however,which is 10.5 and up is wearable but too big. They both are usable but it is annoying.

Thor-lo are great running socks. I am 54 yrs old, a big guy and have bad knees. These are the best socks that I have ever run in. They absorb the blow and cushion the impact on my knees. If you run and have aches and pain from the impact on knees and joints, give them a try. You will never buy another sock to run in.

I bought these for my son to wear for track season. He was getting blisters on the backs of his heels. He's tried many different kinds of socks and even body glide. Nothing helped his heels. These socks are reall cushioned and comfy! He ran without pain/blisters, so his time improved. Definitely worth the money.
